LESSON 4:
Creating Your Rugby Vision
What Is A Vision?
A vision is your desired future.
It answers:
"Where am I trying to go?"
Without vision:
- Motivation fades
- Discipline weakens
- Progress becomes random
Vision Exercise
Imagine it is 5 years from today.
Answer:
- What rugby level am I playing?
- What does my weekly schedule look like?
- What type of athlete have I become?
- What academic achievements have I earned?
- How do coaches describe me?
- How do teammates describe me?
- What opportunities have I created?
Writing Your Vision Statement
Example:
I am a disciplined, respected and high-performing rugby player competing at university level while achieving academic success and becoming a positive leader within my team and community.
